Poll Everywhere
Level: Novice
Objective: To engage with developing various types of polls and surveys through Poll Everywhere.
Description: Poll Everywhere is a wonderful tool to not only engage students, but to gather instant access to data to help guide instruction. This application allows for participants to engage in providing feedback through multiple choice, short answer, word cloud creation, and more.
Through this workshop you will be able to participate, as a student would, to polls. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in the creation of their own polls.
Advice for Implementation: Utilizing old MCAS/PARCC questions serve as a great way to reinforce prior learning and/or for daily bellringers. Coupling this with Poll Everywhere will allow you to quickly and painlessly gather live data on the performance of your students.
