Tips and Tricks for Organizing Google Drive
Objective: Participants will be able to streamline their existing Google Drive and learn conventions to keep Google Drive organized in the future.
Description: Does your Google Drive feel like a cluttered closet in your home? Are you inundated with shared files? Do you long to tidy up this important file storage space, but don't even know where to begin? Then this is the workshop for you! In this beginner/intermediate 60 minute session we will discover tools and tricks to clean up Google Drive. We will also look at the advanced search tool within Drive and how to manage that pesky "shared with me" folder. NOTE: This workshop will not address Google Classroom or folders and files therein.
Improved organization can facilitate many areas of teaching and learning including lesson planning, storing and locating resources, and collaborating with colleagues.
Advice for Implementation:Think carefully about a naming convention for your folders and files.
