Hands On How To
Objective: To model the creation of quick hands on activities to use in math (or any subject).
Description: Student engagement activities get learners involved. Hands on activities give students a physical activity to link learning to. Students love knowing at least 3 times a week there will be an activity. It gives them an opportunity to get up out of their seats and work with each other.
Advice for Implementation: The most successful activities I do are NOT complicated. The advice I would offer is start with one activity then leave it out as a center and revisit it
