Who Owns the Learning?

On August 30th, the Middleborough Public Schools is proud to host Alan November (@globalearner) to provide us with insight to put our students at the center of their learning and leverage the power of technology while doing so.

Alan is a leader in technology and global education. As found on his website (www.novemberlearning.com), "Alan thrives on confirming and challenging educators’ thoughts about what’s possible in the world of teaching and learning. More than anything, he is a teacher at heart, with a wealth of experience teaching learners of all ages."

The Middleborough Public Schools is excited to learn from Alan as we embark on an exciting journey of implementing a 1:1 initiative across grades 6 -12. We view this initiative as an opportunity to put the students at the center of their own learning. Additionally, this initiative allows us to better support our mission statement; "...to prepare all students to excel as educated, responsible, global citizens."
